A couple of months ago, I wasn’t really paying attention to my LinkedIn profile.
I had applied some basic best practices, but honestly – it was pretty average. I didn’t post on there much, and I hadn’t put a lot of effort into it.
Then some changes and opportunities came up in my life, and I wanted to make sure I had a strong LinkedIn profile that really did me justice.
I wanted it to showcase my skills and experience in a way that proved my credibility and the showed the value I bring to the table…
So I started looking around at what the best people are doing on LinkedIn these days.
That’s when I came across a simple app that helped me spot the weak points in my profile – and told me how to fix them.
All I had to do was sync it with my profile, and in a few seconds I had my results.
Like I said, pretty average. Now, I’m a bit of a nerd, so 84% was unacceptable to me. Thankfully, I wasn’t left hanging.
It gave me simple, specific recommendations on how to improve my profile so I could get noticed and make sure my “personal brand” was up to par.
Since then, I’ve fixed my headline a bit, increased engagement, and built my network up… and voila:
Not bad, right? It’s not 100% yet, but I’m getting there. So, the question is: How does your LinkedIn profile score compare?
